I understand that wa...I enjoyed your post cousin. <br /><br />I understand that watching someone trying to keep the many civil and ceremonial codes in the Old Testament will look silly and ridiculous. Many have poked the OT in humor by mimicking them. <br /><br />As a Christian, I sort of laugh, until I look at the basic tenets - the ten commandments. It is so much easier to restrict wardrobe than it is to not covet, not lie, or not fall into lust. <br /><br />These commandments hopefully reveal to the person living "biblically", that doing so is impossible on sheer human effort. This silly exercise, in turn, clearly demonstrates the reason why God promised the Messiah who could do the impossible and live perfectly "biblically".
